Scholarship Success: Fully Funded Education in Italy

My name is Ali Raza, and I’m from Lahore. After completing my Bachelor’s in Architecture from NCA, I wanted to pursue a Master’s degree. However, studying abroad seemed financially impossible for my middle-class family. That’s when I discovered Italy’s scholarship programs through Global Consultants.

Italy offers regional need-based scholarships (DSU – Diritto allo Studio Universitario) that can cover 100% of tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend. Global Consultants helped me identify universities that offer English-taught Master’s programs in Architecture and explained the scholarship application process.

I applied to Politecnico di Milano, one of Europe’s top architecture schools, for their Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design program. The consultants helped me prepare all documents, including the DOV (Declaration of Value) which is required to validate my Pakistani degree in Italy.

The scholarship application required detailed financial documentation – proof of family income, property ownership, and other assets. Global Consultants helped me prepare these documents correctly, as any mistakes can lead to rejection. I also needed to provide a detailed motivation letter explaining my financial need and academic goals.

I was accepted to Politecnico di Milano and received the DSU scholarship in June 2022. The scholarship covers my entire tuition fee (which would have been around 4,000 euros per year) and provides me with a monthly stipend of 6,000 euros per year (paid in 12 monthly installments). Additionally, I got priority access to university accommodation and meal plans.

I arrived in Milan in September 2022. The city is beautiful and historic, and the university is world-class. The architecture program is excellent, and I’m learning from renowned professors. The scholarship has made everything possible – I don’t need to worry about finances and can focus entirely on my studies.

The quality of education here is exceptional, and I’m getting exposure to European design philosophies and sustainable architecture practices. After graduation, I can apply for a job search visa and potentially stay in Europe. The experience has been transformative, and I’m grateful to Global Consultants for their support throughout the process.
