Engineering Excellence: My Masters Journey in Germany

My name is Hassan Malik, and I’m a mechanical engineer from Faisalabad. After completing my B.E. from UET Lahore with a 3.7 GPA, I wanted to pursue a Master’s degree abroad. Germany was my top choice because of its excellent engineering programs and the fact that most public universities charge zero tuition fees.

I learned about RWTH Aachen University, one of Germany’s top technical universities, through Global Consultants. I arrived in Germany in September 2022. The university is outstanding – the facilities, laboratories, and research opportunities are world-class. I’m paying only a semester fee of 300 euros (for public transport and student services), no tuition fees. I can work part-time up to 20 hours per week, which helps cover my living expenses.

The quality of education here is exceptional. I’m working on cutting-edge research in electric vehicle technology and have already published a paper with my professor. After graduation, I can apply for an 18-month job search visa, which gives me time to find employment and potentially get permanent residency.

Living in Germany has been a wonderful experience. The country is beautiful, safe, and offers excellent quality of life. I’ve learned German and made many local and international friends. The experience has been life-changing, and I’m grateful to Global Consultants for making it possible.
