Business Studies in Singapore: Gateway to Asia

I’m Omar Hassan, and I’ve always been interested in business and entrepreneurship. After completing my Bachelor’s in Business Administration from LUMS, I wanted to pursue an MBA. Singapore, being Asia’s financial hub, was my destination of choice.

I needed to take the GMAT exam, which I scored 680 on, and provide strong recommendation letters and essays.

I was accepted to NUS MBA program in January 2022. The consultants then helped me with the Student Pass application, which is Singapore’s student visa. The process requires proof of acceptance, financial capability, and medical examination. They also helped me understand the terms and conditions of the Student Pass.

I arrived in Singapore in August 2022. NUS Business School has been exceptional – the program is rigorous, the professors are world-class, and my classmates come from diverse backgrounds. The business school has strong connections with Asian and global companies, providing excellent internship and job opportunities.

Singapore is a vibrant, multicultural city that serves as a gateway to Asia. The business environment is dynamic, and there are endless networking opportunities. While living costs are high, the quality of education and career prospects justify the investment.

I’ve already secured a summer internship at a leading investment bank in Singapore. After graduation, I can apply for a work pass if I find employment. Singapore offers excellent career opportunities in finance, consulting, and technology sectors.
